Could be anything from excess gum tissue, to a hyperactive upper lip muscle, to excessive vertical growth of the maxilla. You need a doc to tell you.

midface that is fallen down and has found its way into your mouth, yep that disgusting gum is actual your fucking midface that shouldnt be there

it falls down from keeping mouth open all day(mouth breathing) or from super weak chewing muscles( masseters) that couldnt counteract the forces of gravity
