Even as a natty, Its just fun as hell. Going there, getting pumped, taking off your hoodie to a tank top showing veins ponnin everywhere, body-mogging 95% of the people there. Girls at the gym giving you the eye, fucking 15 year old high schoolers mirin, agressive ethnics who usually bully people shows respect and wanna become your friend kissing your fucking ass.

The intimidating factor and the respect you get from guys. The feeling of getting stronger and stronger every month that passes, knowing u are physically stronger than 9 of 10 people in random day to day situations.

Its just great, If you have much free time and you dont have horrible muscle building genetics (which you dont know before atleast 2 years in the gym with LOTS of protein, LOTS of food and consistently trying to up the weights), I see no reason what so ever why you dont train.

Lifting is an absolutely mind numbing activity.
Only the post workout buzz is the reason why I sometimes bother.

I don't know if you are new around here but this thread has less to do with going to the gym and more to do with a narcissist's need for online validation.  Plus all this shit about people mirin etc... is all made in OP's head.

It has to be coupled with a pre workout for the best experience. Lots of caffeine and other stims to hype you up. Pwo watching some "youtube nattys", get to the gym, get a good pump, then take off your hoddie showing off your pumped up muslces in a tank top with veins everywhere. Women like it and men become intimidated/give respect. See yourself grow bigger and stronger as the months/years passes. Its a great feeling and given you dont fucking dream bulk with ice cream and donuts everyday, Its somewhat healthy aswell.

Couldnt give a rats ass about no validation, and you gotta be a legit aspie to not think people mirin when you show off a big ripped physique. Every guy these days wants to become big and strong, but very few manage to actually do it, mostly cause of lack of knowledge coupled with lazyness. A great physique will grant you respect and given you arent horrible ugly face-wise, It will give you some free lays aswell, as long as you actually go out and socialise.

Adding to that. Im convinced men need goal setting and achievement, constantly, to be emotionally healthy. Few things and hobbies makes it so you keep daily/weekly/monthly goals whom which you check in your log book. Most guys dont have no goals at all, more than vague stuff like: "Make money... buy a house... climb the ladder at work uuh", nothing concrete. Gymcelling gives you concrete fucking goals to strive after, every year, month, week or whatever you choose. Its a great hobby to keep that motivation up, constantly providing you with dopamine hits keeping the flame alive, which hopefully spills over to other shit in life as well.

What kind of lifting style do you use? full body, split, other?
Started with bro split and did it for like 4-5 years, lately been doing push/pull/legs and I love it. Modified my own version hitting each bodypart 4 times a week, still so far I havent "overtrained".

Exaggeration, ofcourse. Doing some drugs, having sex, some activities with buddies you might or might not have, going to cool places, holidays etc. Yeah, there are things which obviously are more fun, usually. However these dont happen on a daily basis, like a hobby, which gymcelling is.

I guess If ure a soccer or hockey-player, having it as a profession and/or hobby, thats more fun for you personally.

lol @ if you lift for numbers. That's literally the most retarded thing ever.

It's all about lifting to look better in the mirror not to fucking measure your retarded 1 rep max or some shit

Ya thanks, Im glad some internet dude whos most likely in his early twenties telling me how things work in the "adult world". The truth is, tho, that we are primitive creatures, animals, who fuck, eat, drink and fight. Therefor by definition we are programmed to admire and/or feel intimidating for men who are stronger and more powerful than us. Adding to that, females are programmed to be sexually attracted to men who seems to be stronger than the average, which they will. Even if they wont neccesarily be attracted to you, you are STILL more attractive when muscular than you would be If being a twink.

Thats all nice and dandy, however if you wanna make progress body-wise/physique aswell as strenght-wise, after 5 years of lifting, you better keep track of your numbers/strenght, making sure you do progress. If not you will keep at the same numbers for years without nothing happening neither on the bar or in the mirror, asking yourself wtf ure doing wrong. Been there done that.

Numbers don't mean jack shit. People can get jacked by doing calisthenics where the reps are high and the weight pretty much stays the same. A 15 lbs difference on your barbell press is not going to make a difference to your pec development.

Keyboard jockey detected. 50 dollar youve never deadlifted 500lbs or bench pressed 300, I bet you havent even been consistently training for atleast 4 years.

For some reason theres always the less experienced guys making claims pretending to know more than they actually do, online.

That feel when standing far away from mirrors while lifting so you don't have to look at your own face.
