What the fuck am I reading. Lips absolutely are dimorphic.



First of all, men have wider labial fissures (mouths). It is a very dimorphic trait and a narrow mouth can make a male look very subhuman.

Case in point. Look at the guy at the bottom - you can't see the upper half of his face, but you can instantly tell that he's attractive because of his mouth width.
There are numerous autistic percentile charts for lip width, showing the discrepancy between the two genders.



Another thing is the shape of the labial fissure - masculine lips won't be a straight or a curved line. They will have that main shape but have aggresive turns/notches at the middle and edges of the lips:

You will never see this on females.
This is actually what makes men's lip seem thinner - they fold and turn inwards. This is a dimorphic morphology.



Yet another sexually dimorphic feature of the lips is the shape of the outer edges of the vermillion border - females have a round vermillion border, while males have sharper, more angular pronounced vermillion borders. These are all female lips. You can tell by their softness and round shape.

The two examples you've given actually make their chins and philtrum look longer, which is good (but the lips are still unnattractive).

Lips just have to be a medium thickness, straight and relatively wide to be ideal.

Chico's are decent, for example.

Lips are not dimorphic in the standard sense, but the bone around them (chin, lower maxilla), as well as tooth support gives them their shape.

Full lips are aesthetically pleasing on both sexes, but male lips should look smaller and wider by comparison due to the bone mass.
