LOOK AT THE DIFFERENCE IN CUPIDS BOW HOLY SHIT

@pinhead one more thing to be depressed about.

Also I have noticed that men tend to have smaller upper lips than lower lips but I'm not sure if science is behind this one.

:situation:

My lips are practically exactly the same as the rightmost one, is this a good thing? I've always suspected that I had very high prenatal T because I conform to most of the traits that are associated with it, but I've heard that's something negative around here.

In addition my sister looks like she had very high prenatal T as well, for a woman.

What the fuck am I reading. Lips absolutely are dimorphic.

First of all, men have wider labial fissures (mouths). It is a very dimorphic trait and a narrow mouth can make a male look very subhuman.

Case in point. Look at the guy at the bottom - you can't see the upper half of his face, but you can instantly tell that he's attractive because of his mouth width.
There are numerous autistic percentile charts for lip width, showing the discrepancy between the two genders.

Another thing is the shape of the labial fissure - masculine lips won't be a straight or a curved line. They will have that main shape but have aggresive turns/notches at the middle and edges of the lips:

You will never see this on females.
This is actually what makes men's lip seem thinner - they fold and turn inwards. This is a dimorphic morphology.

Yet another sexually dimorphic feature of the lips is the shape of the outer edges of the vermillion border - females have a round vermillion border, while males have sharper, more angular pronounced vermillion borders. This can be especially seen at the middle of the upper lip - men have what is known as a "cupid's bow". Males also have much wider bows. It is a very dimorphic feature.

These are all female lips. You can tell by their softness and round shape.

Once again, prenatal testosterone is the culprit.

Thin lips are strongly associated with high prenatal and pubertal testosterone levels. Thick lips are strongly associated with high estrogen. Thats why men want big lips on their women and why bitches inject shit in them to make them appear thicker.

Thin lips is a very masculine trait but as usual u faggots are extremely ignorant of the actual science when it comes to this :giggle:

lip plumpness isn't that important as long as it isn't extremely thick/thin

what matters most is how horizontally wide they are

Lips are not discussed enough here...
The 2017 pretty boy has a 10/10 mouth area, you can't ascend if you don't have nice shaped and plumpy lips.
As a upperlipcel my self I can tell you that, beside bone projection, having a good mouth area can halo all your lower third.
Ofc by this I don't mean that you need gay fake huge ass lips, but something natural but well sized...
Some example of what I mean by "good lips/mouth area"

this one kinda doesn't count because he has a 10/10 lower third

^ THose are good lips not to big but not even "george cloney" lips

Those are bad lips:

those are not good lips

and they failo all the lower third, that is kinda good by it self tbh...
Lemme know what do you think.

I have a horrid mouth/lips
I want to fix them but i'm not exactly sure what I need done, or what the actual issue is!
I think it's partly to do with needing the corners lifted up, but i'm not certain.
I'm hoping maybe fillers could help and I hope the person doing it knows what the fuck they're doing!
Or maybe it's to do with not being long enough horizontally in which case, i'm fucked I guess, lol

Maybe i PM you a pic?

lips are definetely underrated
stuff like thin, narrow lips + long philtrum automatically make you 2/10

The two examples you've given actually make their chins and philtrum look longer, which is good (but the lips are still unnattractive).

Lips just have to be a medium thickness, straight and relatively wide to be ideal.

Chico's are decent, for example.

Lips are not dimorphic in the standard sense, but the bone around them (chin, lower maxilla), as well as tooth support gives them their shape.

Full lips are aesthetically pleasing on both sexes, but male lips should look smaller and wider by comparison due to the bone mass.
