It is supposed to be a show for people who struggle to find romance because of their physical or mental conditions.
So viewers were baffled when a muscular, toned rugby player named Tom appeared on their screens on Monday night.
And they took to Twitter in their droves to express their surprise, labelling him 'gorgeous' and 'a babe'.

Tom Morgan, from Wales, admitted that despite his macho image he had only ever had one girlfriend and struggled to be himself around girls because of his Tourette's and Asperger's
The 26-year-old from south Wales suffers from Tourette's and Asperger's syndrome, which affects his confidence when he's around members of the opposite sex.
Appearing on the show while lifting weights, Tom explained: 'When girls see me in the gym they think I'm like this strong, macho guy. I have a few girls messaging me on Facebook.'
But he rarely takes things further than chatting online because of his disorders, and has not been on a date for over a year.

His Tourette's causes physical ticks which makes him self-conscious. He said: 'If I don't know someone, or I'm meeting them for the first time, or I've only met them a couple of times, I try and hold my ticks in and suppress them.
He also has Asperger's, a form of autism, which can make it difficult for him to make eye contact and open up to people.
Tom admitted that this had made it difficult for him to get close to girls in the past, and that his only ever relationship lasted just eight months.

Tom, fourth from left, features in the Channel 4 show, which follows  a group of people who are unlucky in love and sends them on dates
But that evidentally wasn't a problem for the thousands of girls who took to Twitter to swoon over the Welshman.
Before the 47-minute show had even ended, Tom was inundated with smitten admirers and even date offers.
Summer agreed, saying: Tom from #Undateables what an absolute beaut and so nice as well! How is he undateable?' while Christina wrote: 'Eh Tom.....Undateable? I don't think so!!'

Some girls expressed surprise that he hadn't been able to find a girlfriend. Scarlett Moffatt wrote: 'Tom on the Undateables Handsome and kind, how is he undateable, what is wrong with women these days.'
Ellie wrote: 'I am literally like one thousand times more undateable than Tom.'
Many were more than happy to put themselves forward if things didn't work out with his on-screen date.

Olivia-Jo Lovitt tweeted: 'Well Tom off the #undateables can go on a date with me!' and Sian said: 'Err I could 100% see beyond Tom's "problems" - what a babe!'

Robyn Schönhofer wrote: 'Tom won't be single for long after this!'
Tom was set up with 22-year-old fashion graduate Megan from Cardiff, and the pair enjoyed a date at a local pub before going for a country walk.
While he appeared shy at first, admitting that he felt like a rabbit in headlights, he eventually relaxed and stopped worrying about his tics. They swapped numbers and agreed to go for another date.
But it didn't stop Twitter users from swooning over the 26-year-old, with 'Grainne Healy writing: 'Oh my goodness. Tom you are very dateable lad.'

Hol Spencer asked: 'just me thinks this guy tom on #undateables is hot?' and Jade-Leanne wrote: 'How gorgeous is Tom'.
Jessica Beeken added: 'Tom from the #Undateables has everybody on my timeline like [heart-shaped face] and I agree,' while Jessica Ellis wrote: 'Tom is right up my street.'

Tom took to social media to thank people for their support, tweeting: 'Takes courage to open up and tell others about your disabilities. You can't hide behind them for ever.' He has over 16,000 Twitter followers since appearing on the show.

He's just a persona cast for a tv program. It apparantly worked out, as this program receives alot of attention this way.

If he was truly autistic, he wouldn't be able to appear as he does.

Don't sperg out you fucking morons  :giggle:

How many fucking times do you have to understand it's a fucking combination of factors.

Aspie is pretty fucking rare (like 1%) and it's a pretty big fucking hindrance.

NT doesn't matter, It's face or death.

Imagine a life with a Babe with tourettes and autism who would yell "cunt, faggot, nigger"  repeatedly whenever you went out to dinner.   Shit would get old fast.

Can you show me video examples of yelling profanities like that? Genuinely curious. Also, I disagree, a pretty face can triumph the embarrassment and discomfort something like that would cause, especially if it's a women spouting out shit like that. Having a 8+ face by lookism standards is superior to being NT. Face is life, without it you rot, NT or not.

The thing about being aspie is that it lowers your S meaning you have to compensate more in terms of L and M to do well.

Not being NT is a hindrance but not an automatic death sentence by itself.
