You just get leaner

I also read that you need 3 grams of carbs for every 1 gram of protein to build muscle
Protein IS the building block of muscles
But the carbs are required to transport amino acids into building the muscles from what i read


And you get very moody on low carbs and your energy level is extremely low with low carbs

OP carb is for energy, protein is for muscles. you need to each as much carb to have energy for day and for training, not more.

Nigga WHAT you dont need carbs to make gains at all, but you're gonna feel tired as fuck and exhausted often enough that lifting the same weights as eating normal amounts of carbs is gonna be really fucking hard mentally

You don't need carbs lmao.  Work HARD in the gym (overtraining is a meme), eat on a caloric surplus and have plenty of protein, sleep plenty. = gains

Your body cant tell the fucking difference
It will digest all carbs as carbs.  Some digest slower and others digest faster and cause an insulin spike.   They say sugars are bad but lol sometimes sugar is optimal.  These fuckers read too much shit from bodybuilding forums.  Depending on fucking lifestyle you could get by with sodas and donuts for carbs. Manual laborers need fast releasing carbs.

Take a look at the nutrition of professional cyclists.  Some grand tour winners swear by coke for carbs during race.

These fuckers on here are sedentary and dont work for a living.

I work for a fucking living.

Once again your body will make use of the calories based on needs.  If youre a sedentary fucker that goes to the gym for two hours a day and the rest of the day you sit around all day then by all means go by what the bodybuilders preach.

Otherwise your body will prefer simple carbs over complex in some situations if you are a physically active worker.
