srs a dog will always be your friend and love you. cats are cool cuz they're more independent but they're also autistic at times so dogs are ideal. i know some bittercel is gonna say they only care about u cuz u feed them etc but thats completely false. they are legit AF plus it will give you a reason to go outside more and walk which is always a good thing. i wouldn't get a dog if u live in an apartment tho
