Honestly if there's some way you can game the system go for it.  I don't know the situation in your country but you should look into getting on benefits of some sort.

I was briefly between jobs about a year ago(out of work for 3 months), and my uncle suggested I was lazy and scrounging on the system because I didn't have a job.  He gets 3 k worth of government pension a month.  Lol the fucking cunt.

Seriously don't feel bad about collecting benefits.  If you're family or whoever calls you out on it, just ignore it.  Most of them are usually massive hypocrites.

See here's what I don't understand.  If you're on benefits, why stay home?

You can use that time to do all the shit you want to do like join a sports league, go to the beach, if the weather's good you can trek across the country.  None of these activities cost that much money.  If you really feel like working you can volunteer somewhere.  There's no reason you have to spend that time depressed in your basement.  My country doesn't really offer too many benefits - unemployment insurance is only like 20 weeks, but if I could stay on benefits indefinitely I'd do it.

Just think of it as a permanent vacation.
