You really believe it should be one's goal to develop delusion. The end of ones individuality is the acceptance of his true soul. It's a really hard pill to swallow.
and whoever made this whole circus clearly loved individuality
this shit is everywhere
You are it
nah I don't think so. This video explains it well:

this is cringe autistic view of the human condition
"You can't have free will because you can't control what you want"
The existence of human desires is from his point of view clearly biological and there are next to none other real impacts on it
I think that desire/will can also come from somewhere else, namely a person's soul and that those desires can eclipse many of more animalistic needs we have
I mean he clearly doesn't think the same cause soul is not a scientifically proven phenomenon and he won't risk even considering it. A man trapped in walls of his own rationality. Perfectly logical. Perfectly confined.

how? could you elaborate.......damm this some next level shit, im about to spark this blunt, i hope yall keep it goin in this thread
hinduism views the body as a cage for the soul

The human body as a source of misery
The Bhagavadgita states clearly that one should not develop attachment to the body, nor consider it their true Self. Identifying with the body and accepting it as the real self is a delusion caused by the impurities of the mind. The delusion that the body is real and the Self is false is universal. Even those who are deeply religious may not wholeheartedly accept their spiritual identities. If you look at the world around you, you will see how deeply the world is obsessed with looks and forms. According to the Bhagavadgita, accepting one’s mind and body as real is responsible for bondage and rebirth. People who identify themselves with them and accept them as true remain ignorant of their spiritual nature and suffer from fear and anxiety about their Wellbeing and mortality.
this belief system is pretty dangerous in my experience

No, not philosophically. However I feel like an individual and it is the root cause of my constant suffering.
or maybe it's just your ego, not so much the fact that you are a unique individual

The ego is what creates the illusion of individuality. Without it there is no way to determine what is "unique" to oneself. It's a coping mechanism the mind uses to process existence.
