Do they exist? Yes
Does it mean you have them? No

It's like with everything
Needs to be built or earned through hard work and requires knowledge to well direct the effort

That said there is always limiters and we always function in a net of obligations that give us something but limit us at the same time. There will always be major limits on our choices even once we aqcuire some free will
A standard NPC has next to 0 free will, cause all his choices really amount to which series he's gonna watch next or which beer he'll choose in a supermarket
So free will while being a hard concept to understand at the beginning can be defined and understood for example the way I presented it

Soul is a more abstract concept and it comes down to believes really
I would say both exist and are connected
soul-we're talking about a human soul I presume-is something you can grow like your own body, like your own mind but unlike those 2 it can't directly present itself in the sense that you can't really use it like a muscle

I'm not a very religious guy and I don't really take what the Vatican teaches about it as certain: that everyone has a soul, it's always immortal etc.

I think it can both grow and be destroyed, lost and attained
Some of us are definitely born with it, others may never have it
For me more or less soul=humanity=a certain level of conciousness

It wouldn't make sense for people with no free will to have a soul and vice versa

In regards to the nature of the soul 2 concepts that seem to make sense for me would be
1.some kind of an"artificial intelligence"
2.a body made of energy
probably it's a mix of both

Some of it is right I'm sure
Karma for example-it's a shit word and doesn't tell you what it's about
what they all actually believe in is a law of cause and effect
1 of 7 hermetic laws which seem very legit
Buddhism has 2 of those laws in their dogma but also come with some strange shit about losing one's individuality and on the latest stage a pledge of endless reincarnation (pretty stupid if you believe in state of Nirvana)

Other major religions are probably just cope and intelligent lies

This is the most accurate part actually. If you look at things from a purely scientific materialistic perspective you will realize there is no such thing as an individual. Any distinction between an individual and the rest of the universe is purely subjective. Your "soul" if you will is the same soul as the rest of the universes.

but one's goal should be to develop one's individuality and gain power not deny it and blend in with the universe like becoming Eva LCL
end of one's individuality is also end of his soul, free will, his journey essentually
it's the ultimate beta move, you basically give up on everything-no longer want to exist

I don't agree I guess. Individuality clearly exists You can observe it with your eyes. Things are surely not disconnected from each other though. We are all connected because we come from the same source.

You really believe it should be one's goal to develop delusion. The end of ones individuality is the acceptance of his true soul. It's a really hard pill to swallow.

either way you're here, you can't really blend in with the world and magically go from "survival mode" to "chill mode"
why do you have to be here for numerous incarnations and learn so much difficult shit in order to just stop existing as a final solution
there would be no point in our lives
