In one study, almost twice as many females as males had red or auburn hair. A higher proportion of females were also found to have blond hair, whereas males were more likely to have black or dark brown hair. Another study found green eyes, which are a result of lower melanin levels, to be much more common in women than in men, at least by a factor of two

in women?

so are women naturally lower in melanin?
pretty sure. darker features are a masculine trait. my dark brown hair is a shade or two darker than my sisters medium brown. also my skin tans darker than hers.

in my dad's dutch family he has 3 brothers and 2 sisters all from the same parents. both of my aunts are natural blondes and my 3 uncles and my dad all have brown hair

So green eyes because of lower melanin levels. Green instead of what, blue or brown?

Yes and that results to lighter skin color and can help pregnant women absorb better vitamin d from the sun.

My theory is also that men go hunt and are more active therefore they got darker than females

That could explain also why a lot of asian/white men are not attracted to black girls
