Black hair and not skin color is what makes people think ethnics are ethnic

Medium tan skin + brown and blonde hair = Tanned white guy
Medium tan skin + black hair = Ethnic

The majority of white guys these days have light to medium tan and dark eyes.
Unless you are obviously black it's all about the hair.
