You guys do realize that one day if you decide to pull your head out of your ass you are going to have a very difficult time landing a decent job when you are in your in your 20's and have no work experience on your resume?

And looked at how miserable my older co-workers were. It was like staring into my future. They hated their jobs and COPED by socializing with each other and having fun weekends to distract themselves from their worries.
BUT when you're autistic and you don't enjoy socializing with your co-workers and don't enjoy going out on weekends with friends, what's the incentive to workcel exactly? My sister answered "you need to eat and put a roof over your head". I answered, "what's the point of even living?" She then replies that I need to go see a psychiatrist and get on anti-depressants and get some talk therapy. As if medication and some bullshit Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (I have two books with CBT exercises) is going to change my world-view.
I have a girlfriend right now and quite frankly that's all I really need from a social standpoint. Since I am now a NEET, hanging out with my old friends every Saturday for eg would break up the monotony of my week (just like seeing my girlfriend is a welcome break from basementceling.) But I really hate one particular person in my old social circle who is a douchebag to me so that's why I don't hang out with them anymore. And when I was workcelling, I was so exhausted by Friday night that I just wanted to stay in during the weekend.
I understand that I need to go back to work in order to survive. But I don't feel that motivated to wake up at 6:30 am to an alarm clock and devo te my entire morning ritual to unpaid preparation for work. Take a shower in a hurry, prepare breakfast in a hurry, eat breakfast in a hurry, brush my teeth in a hurry, comb my hair in a hurry, pick out and change into my business casual work clothes (which I have to launder and iron on the weekend). And then fight rush hour traffic on the way to work. Then park my car (sometimes office parking isn't free. $35-50 CAN/month). And then in the evening, you fight rush hour traffic again on the way home. All for a $520 CAN/week salary. At one point my salary was more than double that. $1050+ CAN/week (including overtime). But I had to SUFFER to make $1050+ CAN/week. You don't have to suffer as much to make $520 CAN/week (unless you pick a real shit job like retail). But even if the $520/week job is easy compared to my previous job, I still have to wake up to an alarm clock, put in all that unpaid preparation and fight rush hour traffic. I still have to go through all that bullshit. And I just don't know if it's worth it.
I don't understand why a manager can't just pay me $600 CAN/week salary (the salary I probably require in order to move out of my dad's basement and get a 1 bedroom apartment in a nice area of Toronto within walking distance to a subway station, streetcar/bus routes and amenities.) to work from home full-time and set my own hours and do a job that doesn't require me to interact with clients. I'm a self-starter. If I don't get the work done efficiently or to your satisfaction, give me a warning. And if I continue to have performance problems, then terminate me. God. I don't understand why telecommuting is such a big fucking deal to employers. Why do managers feel the need to babysit their employees?
I wish there was a viable low-risk small business that I could run on my own with the capital that I have saved up ($235k+ CAN). Otherwise, it makes more sense for me to invest all of my money in indices on the stock market and let other, more experienced and educated entrepreneurs invest my money. Now is probably a bad time because the S&P 500, DOWJONES and NASDAQ are in correction territory and probably heading towards a bear market. The TSX (Toronto stock exchange) is in a bear market right now. Now might be a good time for me to invest in the TSX and then later I can think about investing in the American indices. When the Chinese stocks are done falling, that would be a good time to invest in China as well. When the economy rallies and heads back into a bull market, I stand to make a lot of money in capital gains. And I only have to pay tax on half my capital gains.

You are at a good stand point with that amount of money saved + have a gf + having friends
Why don't you try working from home?
I work from home, it's hard as working at the office, maybe even harder because of the fact that your boss can't track you so your performance is measured more strictly, but it's from home..
I'm NEET, but will be sent somewhere to do forced volunteer work next month.

Not true at all. Employers (at least in software industry where I work now) don't care at all how old you are. They care whether you have a college degree, and aren't a dumbshit (which most people who apply are). You can go to college at age 24 or any time really, you don't have to go right after high school. Just lol @ retards like you that think life is some sort of race. Do whatever you want.

Hey you dumb fuck I am not talking about age. I am talking about being an adult of any age and going years without doing anything productive with your life. Do you honestly think a 2 year gap where someone did not work or go to school will not raise a red flag to a potential employer?
