Quote:It's your parents fault anyway for not showing you enough affection as a child causing you to to be timid and unadventurous, filled with fears and self pity.
You became an introvert, and now you seek ultimately unreal consolations of some system of philosophy.
You seek to make an intelligible system or pattern out of the seemingly haphazard world, which is an outcome of fear. a kind of agoraphobia or dread of open spaces.
Within the four walls of your predictable, inconsequential room, you feel safe.
If you can persuade yourself that the universe is equally tidy, you can feel almost equally safe when you have to venture forth into the streets.
Should you have had received more affection, you would have feared the real world less, and would not have had to invent an ideal world to take its place in your beliefs.
